Music has always been an important part of my life and is something I want to share with my friends and clients. Ask me about any important moment in my life, happy or sad, and I can tell you what I was wearing and what songs were playing. Well, we can't all share clothes today, but we can share the joy of music - both old and new.

Hearing old songs takes me back, and whether it's a happy or sad memory, vividly reliving those moments makes me feel alive. Van Morrison reminds me of long summer days in high school watching my husband play softball in Ridge Park. Carole King reminds me of cold Chicago days riding the CTA and sharing salty French fries with my Mom. When I hear Bob Dylan's lyrics I hear my Dad's voice telling me to listen to the poetry. I love those memories and love the music that keeps them fresh.

This collection also includes the new music that enhances the special moments of my life. Whether it is my children's births, sports, school days or graduations, all of these moments have a soundtrack in my mind. I love hearing a great new song and sharing it with my kids, although truthfully, it is usually the other way around. Either way, the new songs I love make the present better and will be there always to trigger the fond memories of the future.
